First Post

To Anyone Who Decides To Read This -

I was totally against writing a blog.  I am a 3rd grade teacher (which keeps me busy enough), and on top of that, am expecting my first child, a daughter, in December.  However, my best friend was adamant that I write one to help remember the memories that were soon to be made.  This has been an ongoing battle for a while between the two of us and it looks like she has won out.  Hopefully Baby Girl will be thankful to her one day for her persistence.

So if you choose to read this, please know that my intention is to write this blog as Letters to Baby Girl.  Hopefully I will be able to keep this up once she gets here so that she will have the memories she will be too young to remember.

There may be one other reason that helped get this going....bed rest!! While this sounds fantastic as a pregnant woman, please know, IT IS NOT!  So being bored may have also helped to inspire me to begin writing a blog.  While on bed rest hopefully I will learn how to use this (with a little help from a friend), and by the time she gets here it will be easy and quick to update (seeing as how I won't have all this time on my hands anymore).
